AI-Risk & Ethics Workshop

2026-05-29

On 29 May 2026, as the final session of the 16th International Conference Lean Learning Academy “Simulations and Artificial Intelligence in Modern Industry”, Marcin Olech and Łukasz Paśko from Rzeszów University of Technology conducted the “AI-Risk & Ethics related workshop”.

The workshop was delivered by members of the PATH-AI project team and focused on practical aspects of using Generative AI responsibly. Participants explored selected risks connected with AI-supported work, including hallucinations, false confidence of AI-generated answers, bias, manipulation, data security and the need to verify AI outputs.

The session also introduced practical approaches to prompt engineering, including the role–task–format method, iterative prompting and ways of improving prompts to obtain more reliable, transparent and ethically sound results. The workshop encouraged participants to reflect on the responsible use of AI tools in education, research and professional practice.
