On 28–29 May 2026, the PATH-AI project partners met at Rzeszów University of Technology for a two-day project meeting focused on reviewing progress, discussing ongoing tasks and planning the next stages of cooperation.
The meeting brought together representatives of the partner institutions involved in the PATH-AI project. During the sessions, partners reviewed the current status of the project and discussed the progress achieved within key work packages, especially those related to responsible and transparent use of Generative AI in higher education.
An important part of the meeting was devoted to the results of the literature review and stakeholder interviews. The consortium discussed how these findings contribute to the development of practical guidelines for the responsible use of GenAI in teaching, learning, assessment and institutional governance. Partners also reviewed the ongoing work on identifying risks connected with the use of AI in higher education and discussed possible mitigation strategies.
The meeting also focused on the next steps in the project, including further development of GenAI guidelines, preparation of project deliverables and work on AI integration and governance models. These models are intended to support higher education institutions in implementing AI solutions in a responsible, transparent and human-centred way.

The meeting in Rzeszów provided an important opportunity for the PATH-AI consortium to align ongoing activities, exchange perspectives and define priorities for the next stages of the project. It also strengthened cooperation between partners working together to support the responsible, transparent and human-centred use of AI in higher education.
